Manly Beach / Manly Wharf area, Northern Beaches

[SEED_EVENT] Paddle out from Manly as the sky goes coral and peach — then land for a simple shared picnic (bring a plate to share or something from the Corso). Beginner-friendly doubles welcome; life jackets sorted. Why come: golden-hour photos, easy conversation on the water, zero small-talk pressure once the waves do the work. Exact meet time TBC once we lock boat numbers — we’ll message RSVPs 48h prior. Dress: bathers + dry layer + sunnies. Max 12 so it stays chill, not a flotilla.

Manly (venue TBC — announced to RSVPs)

[SEED_EVENT] Pub-style trivia with a Northern Beaches twist — surf culture, local landmarks, 90s/00s music, and one cheeky “would you rather” round. Teams of 2–4; solo players get matched at the door. Why come: competitive flirting disguised as general knowledge. Winner takes bragging rights + a round of soft drinks on the club. Exact start TBC (aiming early evening). Come hungry — we’ll share a long table.

Spit Bridge car park → Manly, Sydney Harbour

[SEED_EVENT] Classic harbour-side walk: Spit Bridge to Manly (~10km option; shorter turnaround at Clontarf for anyone who wants an easier day). Ocean views, bush pockets, and optional swim at the end. Why come: side-by-side walking is the best icebreaker — no staring across a table for two hours. Meet time TBC. Bring water, decent shoes, and appetite for gelato on the Corso afterward (own shout).

Narrabeen Lagoon / Collaroy beachfront, Northern Beaches

[SEED_EVENT] Early-December magic: an easy evening stroll along the Narrabeen–Collaroy strip while shopfronts and trees light up, then hot chocolate (or a mocktail) to warm up. Why come: festive without the forced office-party energy. Perfect first event if you’re new to the club. Exact time TBC with sunset. Comfortable shoes; bring a light jacket for the sea breeze.

Freshwater Beach (lawn / park area TBC), Northern Beaches

[SEED_EVENT] Our pre-Christmas social: spikeball / frisbee / casual volleyball, a shared BBQ (BYO something for the grill or salad table), and easy mingling as the sun drops. No formal “speed dating” — just good energy and name tags if you want them. Why come: meet a bunch of people in one go before the holiday rush; low stakes, high laughter. Exact start TBC with weather. Sunscreen non-negotiable. Friends welcome if they’re singles-friendly and respectful of the vibe.
