Disclaimer: We have NO associationwith any other "Northern Beaches Singles" groups. NBSS.CLUB is an independent community marketplace.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using NBSS.CLUB (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What we are

Northern Beaches Social Singles ("NBSS", "we") operates a community event marketplacefor single adults connected to Sydney's Northern Beaches. Members may attend ticketed events or host events and receive ticket proceeds via Stripe Connect. We are not a dating agency and do not run forced speed-dating formats.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (community focus: roughly 20s–40s).
Accounts are for personal use by real individuals.
You must provide accurate profile information where required.
No business spam or multi-level marketing.

4. Marketplace model

Listing fee: Free to host/list an event.
Tickets: Hosts set a ticket price (minimum A$4.99). Attendees pay via Stripe.
Community Growth Fee: The platform retains an application fee of the greater of A$2.00 or 25% of the ticket price (see checkout and host tools for estimates). We state that platform fees fund local Meta advertising to grow the community.
Host payouts:Remainder (after Stripe processing) is paid to the host's connected Stripe account. Hosts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding (e.g. Individual / Sole Trader) before publishing paid events.

5. Refund policy

NBSS is a marketplace. The platform does not hold ticket funds as your bank. Ticket payments are processed to hosts via Stripe Connect.

All refunds are at the sole discretion of the Event Host, subject to Stripe's rules and Australian consumer law where it applies. Contact the host for refund requests. For safety or fraud concerns, email admin@nbss.club.

6. Anti-poaching

To protect member privacy and safety, all official NBSS events must be ticketed through the Platform. Hosts found soliciting members to bypass the Platform for unsanctioned events will be permanently banned.

7. Code of conduct

This is a strictly social, low-pressure environment. Harassment, aggressive dating behaviours, or making members feel uncomfortable will result in immediate removal. Full standards are in our Community Guidelines.

8. User content & profiles

You are responsible for content you post. Do not post illegal, offensive, or infringing material. We may remove content or accounts at our discretion.

9. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is." We are not responsible for interactions between users, event outcomes, or host conduct beyond reasonable platform moderation. Attend events at your own risk and use common sense.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
